Another Thursday night and another great women’s basketball matchup. The Irish have lost just once, to UConn, and Louisville is unbeaten.
I think the biggest stats to watch tonight will be rebounding and free throws. Notre Dame has dominated their opponents in both categories while Louisville has held just a slight edge here. In fact Louisville has been outrebounded in four of their last five games.
Both teams have shot the ball really well but Louisville relies on the three-pointer a little more. Expect the shooting percentages to go down tonight because both teams defend well and in a close game, free throws and rebounds matter more so I’ll take the Irish, 73-63.
