The first time you download the program you have to login and if you haven’t used it in awhile, you may get logged out. Either way, go to the ‘Lineup’ menu and click on ‘Refresh Account Details’ or click on ‘Preferences’ to logout and log back in again.
When you open Lineup, you’ll see this screen. Click on ‘File Setup’
You’ll then see this screen with three steps to get your game data into the program.
First set how many periods, overtime periods and the date.
Next, copy and paste your play by play data into the text boxes. You have to do each period separately. If you have any problems, often times it’s related to the copy and paste part of the process. Start at the first time on the play by play and end it right on the last character on the list. Sometimes the extra highlights before and after throw things off.
Once that’s done, Lineup will read the data and highlight the starters. If you’ve used one or both of the teams before, it will match it up with what’s already in the system. Otherwise, you’ll have to type in the two team names.
Once this is done, you’ll see this screen that will show you the final score. Click on ‘Open Lineup Center’ to make the magic happen.
When you open the lineup center, you’ll see both teams’ lineup and if there’s an error to be corrected, the red ‘View Errors’ button will appear.
Lineup will show you exactly where the error occurred. The errors come from areas on the play by play when there’s a sub out or sub in without a corresponding opposite action leaving the program to read more or less than 5 players on the floor.
Select which player should be subbed in or out, in this case ‘in’, to fix the error.
And Lineup will tell you when all the errors are fixed.
Once that’s done, all of your reports are ready to go! Five-Man Stats, Five-Man Advanced Stats, Individual Advanced Stats and for Lineup Plus users, Two and Three Man Combinations.

Once you have a few games under your belt, you can take advantage of our cumulative stats feature to report on some or all of your games. Go to the Teams menu and select ‘View Season Games’.
From there, just select the games from the menu and generate the report to get back to the reporting screen.
